How do you explain that Azeris Turks, Tatar Turks, Turkmenistan Turks (Central Asia), and Gagaoguz Turks are all white looking then?? huh! There are articles on the DNA of Azeris,Gagauzes that state that they are of indigenous stock. There are articles posted in this forum stating that the Chuvash,Gagauz are indigenous. You seemed to have forgotten about Ahmadinejad. He's an Azeri and you know what he looks like

pffffff.... what's with the white race again? everyone tries to prove they are white or that their neighbours aren't.... Turks get angry when they are called arabs, mongols etc.. Greeks are angry when they are called dark, africans etc...
In the pictures you have posted all over this forum, I ve seen FYRMacedonians look greek, Turks look greek, albanians looking greek, serbians looking greek, and the other way around. So f**cking what?
Tell me balkans & anatolians, what so good about the white race, that other races haven't got?
P.S. (just a comment FOR THE RECORD) My friend thracian, I ve seen some EU forums. I have to tell you that in there, western & northern europeans they consider that the white color is the pinkish color of a western northern european. So they call the rest "orange". And in every one of these sites, there's a thread where northern europeans express their negativity on turks being european...And they try to find in what haplogroup they belong (for god's sake) to prove their european roots. This attitude of racial superiority and european superiority disgusts me and I oppose it everywhere I go...

I think Turkey is nation full of mixed ethnicities and that makes it beautiful. Turks don't have 1 kind of look. They have a variety and theres something wonderful about that.

As for people from Cyprus look different I have stated so many times that I'm bored of it, my family from Cyprus are all blondy with blue eyes, or brunette with Green eyes, the darkest eye colour is Hazel. The Turkish Cypriots are way lighter than the Greek Cypriots and thats a fact, although I do know there are small areas with black cypriots. Anyhow, Turks cannot be defined as a certain colour or race, they are way too mixed to be pure anything including white (whatever that is) get over it and embrace the beauty of diversity I say Lol!I have been both to the turkish part of Cyprus and the Greek part of Cyprus,in a matter of fact i have greek cypriot friends that i visit every years. Greek cypriots are the darkest greek population for sure (mostly because a small part of them mixed with phoenicians and turks) but definitely lighter than turkish cypriots! Here are my 2 Greek Cypriot girls i have one more friend there(Ioanna, The girl with the black hair, father is Greek Cypriot and mother is greek from Corfu) My friend on the right is real redhead btw Here is a greek cypriot kid during the turkish invasion in cyprus in 1974

Janny! Turkey,it is well known among us,had Balkan settlers especially in these regions in Turkey:Marmara,Aegean and Black Sea,then Central and Southern, then at a lesser extent Eastern Region and even lesser Southeast or Kurdistan Turkey. And these pale-ish,light haired, light eyed & Aryan-ish or northern/central European features are present in higher percentages among Balkanians than Mediterranean Europeans. . The Greeks,in terms of bone structure, resemble the Middle Easterners most when it comes to their brows. But you notice their all lighter coloured than the Iraqi and Iranian footballers. Excuse me but it depends on how you mean it. Greeks have aryan features,i can say along with italians they have an amazing facial symmetry. Greeks don't look middle easterns at all except the ones from the islands like cyprus, chios, lesvos, etc, and only thing that causes that is the climate Except if when you say middle eastern you mean people like Iranians, that's probably because both of them are aryan but again..No.. Balkan people like serbs,greeks,romanians,bulgars..and etc(excluding turkey) have lighter eyes than meditteraneans like portoguese, spanish, italian and etc but they are shorter except Montenegrans (serbia) and Cretans (Greeks) they are the two tallest ethnic groups in europe in fact! (Montenegrans come first and second come Cretans) Most Greek people look like this

Firefly, you've posted a lot of attractive Greeks there.
In response to your post which quoted me,I meant that the Greeks have resemblance to Middle Easterners because of their "ethnic" features. The olive skin, the thick brows, the prominent nose, the dark hair. When people talk about the difference in looks between Northern and Southern Europeans, they'll point out those features I have listed.
I didn't mean that they look 100% Middle Eastern.Of course not.But there are a minority of Greeks who do look Middle Eastern.I once saw a travel documentary on Crete and saw many Middle Eastern looking Greeks. But overall,Greeks pass off as Europeans in looks.

In fact the most "eastern" or "turkish" looking Greeks as we say are the Pontians who just simply do look "Anatolian".
Greek Cypriots are darker too due to their geography and history. Cretans on the other hand are pretty European med. looking.
The most lighter Greeks with blue eyes and lighter hair are from northern Greece, Epirus and especially Macedonia and this will most probably also be due to geography and history..

Most of you guys are dark. You have to come closer to Dalmatia and Pannonia to get a regular distribution of light people.

It depends on what you mean by "dark". Its a relative term. In comparison to our northern neighbours we are surely darker but in comparison to our eastern and southern neighbours we are definitely lighter. We are simply perfect not too dark not too light..

Yes, Compared to their neighbhours...I could say they adjust with Italians but are lighter than most spanish and portuguese. I've been in all four and that's my opinion. Serbians,Croats and etc are lighter of course mostly because of climate though and dna as well.
