Yes, Compared to their neighbhours...I could say they adjust with Italians but are lighter than most spanish and portuguese. I've been in all four and that's my opinion. Serbians,Croats and etc are lighter of course mostly because of climate though and dna as well. i don't think that croats, serbs are lighter then us south balkanians,i know that they ain't lighter us albs.the first turks weren't white and those that are today probably are very mixed i assume.i know by derk or mayby somebody else that the most beautiful people in turkey are those from izmir(albanian descent) Albanians are generally a fair (pun intended) deal lighter than Greeks. This is something that Greek members on this board have noted as well as something actual studies have shown. From what I have seen ex-Yugos are not lighter, at least not notably so, than Albanians. Even among the ex-Yugos there are differences in pigment. Concerning Turks and them being white or not. I think there are some complexes among Turks concerning their pigment. Turks are not light on average. Trying to convince others that they are even though they are not shows an inferiority complex. I have only seen this on the Internet though. Turks in real life do not show these inferiority compexes.

"White" is such a stupid classification. White=Caucasian and sub races of. Asia does have a few Whites i'd say the majority of them is in the Caucasus. The whole area was under the Byzantine/Ottoman rule. The ''Whitest'' part of Turkey is most probably the Western part there the Byzantine and Slavic descendants still roam around nomadic style.

In fact the most "eastern" or "turkish" looking Greeks as we say are the Pontians who just simply do look "Anatolian". Greek Cypriots are darker too due to their geography and history. Cretans on the other hand are pretty European med. looking. The most lighter Greeks with blue eyes and lighter hair are from northern Greece, Epirus and especially Macedonia and this will most probably also be due to geography and history.. Greek Cypriots are of Hellenas stock this is my friend Mario he looks lie a normal Alpine Med to me. Turkish Cypriots are Anatolians and most of them are Yoruk Attachments:

Firefly, are you an incarnation of Admin? Anyways, many of the modern blond b1tches are left overs from the slav invasions... No, this is an example of a Macedonian Epirus boy the Slavic Greeks are the Goth descendants they are the Thracians but still you can have the Caucasian Greeks that are not mixed with Slavs or whatever and still have blonde hair and blue eyes Attachments:

How do you explain that Azeris Turks, Tatar Turks, Turkmenistan Turks (Central Asia), and Gagaoguz Turks are all white looking then?? huh! There are articles on the DNA of Azeris,Gagauzes that state that they are of indigenous stock. There are articles posted in this forum stating that the Chuvash,Gagauz are indigenous. You seemed to have forgotten about Ahmadinejad. He's an Azeri and you know what he looks like He;s a BALUCH! Azeris have Kipchak and Cumman blood they are if anything to do with the Huns and have very little Illyrian ( Albo ) blood

Corrected* btw the reason why people say the Cretans are darker/darkest is because of the Phoenicians who were Near Eastern but they went everywhere even Southern Italy and Greece.
