Some ancient authors mention Celtic people, who settled in Thrace - in Tylis for example.

Tylis, the Celtic kingdom, exsited for several decades in eastern Thrace. They shared some common culture for a while. Tsompanos you shall write in English. Greek language applies in Greek forum only. Consider this, otherwise I'll soon erase the written above sentence.

And do you know what were the boundaries of Bulgaria before? How about aegean Thrace, some 80 years back (or today northern Greece)?! You either are greek Greek or Thracian. Since you say you originate from BG you are not a Greek (but may be a Greek citizen?!).

We can't tell who is who. I'm sure that during the thousand of years that Thracians and Greeks lived as neighbors, people crossed borders and settled on each others land. Not to say that Thracian and Greeks are related, as they both have Mycenaean roots.

They wetre "neighbours", but Thracians were not Greek. Even if later, Greek were allowed to be colonist in some Thracian settlements. It was kind of Hansa trade system.

i know where Bulgarias borders where before the world wars and i also know that before that the whoal balkans was under the Ottoman empire does that make everyone in the balkans a turk? was the Byzantine empire turkish? since Constantinople (wich was basically the capital of Thrace ) is turkey today was homer a turk to? since he was from what is today turkey , if bulgarians are so thracians where are the famous bulgaro-thracians then? the thracians where partly hellenised during the ancient times and had very close contact with greeks by the time of alexander the great and after the where mostly hellenised or romanised later up to medieval times when the bulgarians came around 900 years after the thracians spoke mostly greek , there was no doubt about the greekness of thrace , if your not going to say now that bulgarians are byzantines to and that would make you sound stupid wouldnt it? i fail to find any connection between bulgarians and thracians except that today a big part of thrace is in bulgaria , oh and i am thracian and greek well thracian with todays meaning im not saying that im 100% ancient thracian blood . and your telling me you dont know that there used to live alot of greeks in south bulgarian ? did they erase that part of your history in your ex commie schools?
