1) the ones who came, where undoubtedly Serbs not only it is doubtful, but its also untrue. The slavic tribes that went to Greece (ezerzi, milingi) were not Serbian. However their language had undoubtedly belonged to the Bulgarian group (southeastern one) as it is the language of every slav who lives near the Greeks.

Come one, Jovane there is still one Velika in Balgaria (and one in its sister mongol state: turkey). I am not trying to prove anything. I am just giving hints for further research... Can you find me at least ONE slavic toponym in Greece which is met in greater density in Bulgaria than Yugoslavia? Show it... No? then step back and accept the reality.

I am not trying to prove anything. I am just giving hints for further research... ok so its just statistics. Great. Thanks. Now you can go back to real world where every slav in Greece have belonged to the Bulgarian slavic group.

And NO, falmerayer WAS WRONG.... ALL THE WAY! Indeed falmerayer (a clear anti-Greek) was more idiot than any greek-wannabe from here...
The fact that two groups of people (stupid neo-greek nationalists, made in USA) and anti-greeks fight eachother does not mean that they are not both stupid as vegetables....
Slavs from Greece, moved to Yugoslavia.... END OF STORY

"Now you can go back to real world where every slav in Greece have belonged to the Bulgarian slavic group."
No they didn't. These slavs spoke the same language as the serbs, croats and slovenes back in the 6th, 7th centuries.

Since WW II. And mainly because you were a lot weaker (militarily) than any of your neighbors. thats why when only Serbia was fighting Bulgaria (one against one), you lost. Could you please be more precise because I do not get it?

"Now you can go back to real world where every slav in Greece have belonged to the Bulgarian slavic group." No they didn't. These slavs spoke the same language as the serbs, croats and slovenes back in the 6th, 7th centuries. and you base this on what? your wishful thinking? if by "serbian language" you mean torlakian, than yes, you are right. but if u mean serbian proper, croatian, slovene - then deffinately no.

^ so they spoke bulgarian then, old bulgarian?. The slavs of thessaloniki in the 10th century, spoke basically the same language as slavs in serbia, vardar, montenegro, croatia and slovenia. Old slavic which is incorrectly called old bulgarian has a declension system. Modern bulgarian, vardarian and most of the slavs in greece lost it and its not because of bulgarian influenece, it evolved in a region where they live. Why isn't slovenian the same today as modern serbo-croat, again it evolved in the region where they live.
