According to me, if you are Greek, then say you are Greek. If not, then you are embarrassed about it. I can say that I am Greek in public (the net counts) just as well as I can make the sign of the cross in public as I pass an Orthodox church, in Greece or anywhere that I am at the time. Nothing stops me and I am not embarassed by it. Decide to be brave, or a scared numbnut!

...yes... all the above are nice bla bla bla.... but how about... anwering my question? You are obviously not proud of your greekness, thus you have the need to embrace a foreign name/culture/history (Macedonian). Your name is Greek, why can't you accept it?

He can't. He is an absolutely disgusting example of*greek, with no balls. Numbnuts gets sick to his stomach when he speaks the word "Greek". What a sickness! He even uses the German form of the Greek name Vasili. Why go out of his way to use the non-Greek version of his name when he is "suppose" to be so Greek??

French, German....who cares? What about the Greek form? Not so Greek afterall.
I may be the "strength of the people", but you surely are no "King" of Macedon.
I got you pegged, Frenchy!

I know. It has to do with the former King of Greece. Tottalitarian Greek commounist still dont use it because of the name connotations..

Hmmm, not quite, brother.
When the Holy Cross was found by Saint Helena around 327 AD, the hill where it was found was covered with basil plants. Some say the scent of basil lead to the discovery of the Holy Cross. That is why some Greeks do not cook with basil.

Have I ever deny my Greekness?
I think that you have, when you call yourself Macedonian!
If you want to be Macedonian, that is okay. I am sure that you would be welcomed with open arms. Of course, you can not call yourself both Macedonian and Greek, except for me (as far as I know here on these forums) since that is what my French birth certificate says (and the French are truthful with all their legal documents). And we are talking about ethnicities, aren't we?
Yes, I know all about the nonsense spoken about the Macedonian ethnicity. But talking that cr.ap doesn't change anything, does it? We are Macedonians no matter what anyone says. Simple enough?
Oh, I am Greek, too.
