Btw haplogroup I2a2 is divided into two clusters...one is called "Din N"...and one "Din S"....means I2a2 north and south the Danube...its interesting that most tested Balkanians do belong to the Din N cluster...which suggests a Slavic origin of them.

AFAIK, I and J haplogroups had same ancestral haplogroup known as IJ, which origin was Southwest Asian, so it makes a lot of more logic that those modern northern nation ancestors came from south and not the opposite Also when you mention Y-chromosome DNA haplogroups, you should mention mtDNA haplogroups otherwise its stupid to debate about origins of nations
