Cause there's no jobs in Kosovo. why? i thought the shiptars were great state-builders..i mean look at albania...what a gem All of Kosovo's "state" assets have gone directly to the politicians. They live in villas and get their kids educated in America while most don't have jobs or barely a place to live. This a dangerous predicament to be in (for an Albanian). They must continue to support their government (even tho corruption is clear) no matter what, their existance depends on it.

Sounds like a great introduction to a new, yet to be made book, "Welcome to the Balkans".

Montenegro $10,100 8. Serbia $10,900 9. Romania $11,600 10. Bulgaria $13,500 www.aneki.com/poorest_europe.htmlAlbania is till poorer than Macedonia. Bosnia & Kosovo equal second poorest... Tirana could be the dullest city on the planet. 1) You've never been to Tirana or Albania so you shouldn't post anyting 2) The 250euro salary that your family receives from the government wouldn't be enough to cover the bus ride to Tirana and the only vacation your family enjoys is the yearly weekend vacation to hotel milovski in ohrid.. Not to mention Tirana is one of the fastest growing cities in Europe and not a fake city that has to rely on using statues of ancient man on hourse to generate tourists.. lol 3) Albania is twice the country titostan is.. Despite many of the problems with Albania it's progressing nicely and is experiencing booms in tourism and the country is modernizing but hey titostan has the 2014 plan!! Alot of my cousins in the old FYROM have moved to Albania as there is better high end work there. 4) Macedonia is as poor if not poorer than Albania.. Almost 40% of the population is unemployed and it's much higher with the youth(around 50%) there is no good jobs in macedonia and all the jobs are brain drain type of jobs. I bet your unemployed and collect welfare checks and get a free apartment from the gov't since your a son of Alexander. All the slavs in my town in FYROM have gotten new apartments paid off by the gov't and get monthly welfare checks. Lazy fucks All the valuable workers leave the country and therefore the country is in shit today. 5) GDP per capita doesn't show how rich or poor a citizen of a certain country is but I wouldn't expect you to understand that. If you also want to play that game Albania has been having positive economic growth for years while Macedonia has been regressing..

Mystery already stated most of what I wanted to say. But remember these numbers neglect the black market.

GDP doesn't mean shit FYI. The salaries the tool-job leaders in the Balkans are getting is what should be investigated.

But you're right for self-determination should be equal to theirs. shiptars trying to relate to illyrians is laughable... Thanks to those claims^, I now realise through my own research that we're all (most likely) part Illyrian, probably moreso than the Albs themsevles. Linguistically speaking and geographically speaking, YUGO's are more Illyrian than the Albs. They use the "Illyrian-argument" only to indugle themsevles in a fantasay world of being (once upon a time) a significant aspect of Balkan history. Without the "Illyrian-argument" their significance is next to null.

^False. Most of us have at least a little Illyrian in us. But the Albanians by far have more Illyrian blood. Unless you believe the chechen theory. Haha.
