How ironic. We don't have street signs in Macedonia in Albanian language in the regions that Albanians are more than 50%. Don't wanna sound sarcastic but this is true, i bet that even you have noticed that.

In Canada all public notices are in bilingual (English and French), except in the province of Quebec, there everything is just in french.

I guess this is true, but look at all the rights Albanians enjoy in Macedonia. Macedonians in Albania are only now starting to get noticed, and are entering the political scene. They live in third-world conditions at the moment, and there is a long way to go before they become equal citizens in Albania.

street signs or no street signs, the albanians in macedonia have schools - seats in the parliament - and investments/rejuvenation in their cities (Tetovo)
i think albanians can whine a bit too much

The reason Macedonians in Albania are only getting noticed now is because there are only a very few of them, their few numbers also affect them in the political scene (they are however represented, quite well in comparison to their numbers actually). Albanians in Macedonia however represent a very large portion of the total population in Macedonia, yet they have less rights many of those rights are often not even considered, they get invested in much less and etc. The conditions of Albanians in Macedonia is far from good, the same can be said for Albanian people living in every neighbouring country.

These people in Albania claim to be Macedonian one day, Bulgarian the next. Depends which way the wind blows.

Western Macedonia (Albanian territory) keeps the rest of this artificial state alive. It's only a matter of time before the "Macedonians" start whining.

last time i looked, western macedonia was part of the republic of macedonia. i don't care what the population make-up is. unless you can raise an army to secede from macedonia, then stop with the speculating.

Doesn't seem like Albanians in Macedonia are really for succession. Not all of them are as intent as the Kosovar Albanians. Seems like the Macedonian Albanians are content with cultural autonomy which is fair I think. You gave the Albanians in Macedonia this freedom around a decade ago I think and you saw that they have calmed down since. Neither side should exaggerate the reality on the ground. Zivila Makedonija

Macedonia would not want that.. And plus I'm pretty sure Macedonia couldn't handle a bunch of untrained rebels in 2001.. Macedonia is ruing itself with this process of Macedonizing itself.. Cut the crap its ruining the country. Stop building statues, fix the name issue so the republic of Skopje can get back on track. Unemployment is high, people are poor but the gov't is worrying about a stupid name issue and making statues of Phillips bastard son.

Listen the last thing that country needs is war.. All hell will break if there's war not to mention the Republik of Skopje will get partitioned. War will destabilize the country another 10 years.. And what are the slavs gonna do? Charge with Alexanders phalanx?

Is that all you guys got? Islamic terrorists? Has there been a terrorist attack in macedonia by the Albanians? Driving by the new U.S. embassy in Shkup last summer did make me question whether they would ever allow the breakup of Titostan. But as far as your forces, they couldn't handle a bunch of untrained villagers in 2001 as mystery stated. Trajkovski to his secretary, "Get me Solana on the phone immediately." We don't even have to fight anyways. We will outnumber you in a matter of two decades. You will be a minority in your own nation.

So what we have signs in Italian and German in Albania. The truth is no one who lives in Albania likes living there or being Albanian so they'll say they're anything for a profit. Until Berishastan can be overthrown I'm afraid this isn't going to change.

Berisha is a problem but he is much better than the faggot artist known as Edi Rama.

You will be a minority in your own nation. [/img] yes, you keep saying this. it has been said for the past 60 years. you failed in 2001 - face it. r. macedonia remans in tact. you already had the rights you 'obtained' under the ohrid agreement before 2001. war in macedonia always involves multiple interests and parties. muslims in europe are not in vogue at the moment, just read the news. it would be hard for you to gain sympathy in the future.

It is in your intersests to have the Albanians be religious muslims. They are the weak who lack a sense of ethnic pride. My parents are from villages of Gostivar. I see the clowns in the city. Your people love them.

Your people love them. our interests? i doubt it. these are the breeders in the balkans. we are trying to educate muslim women to get am education and get employment, so they don't just stay home and breed. actually i don't mind christian albanians. i know quite a few macedonians who have married them.
