PM Gruevski Met with Macedonian minority in Albania Monday, 17 October 2011 Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski visited Saturday the vilage of Trebiste in Albania's Gold Brdo area and held talks with Macedonians living there. Gruevski's meeting with representatives of Macedonian minority and the Macedonian Alliance for European Integration party addressed the need of further development of Macedonian-Albanian cooperation in regard to improving the living standard of ethnic Macedonians in Golo Brdo, above all in terms of road infrastructure, education and health care. Gruevski also attended a Macedonian language class for Golo Brdo children, who welcomed the PM with a recital, the Government's Information Service said in a press release. macedoniaonline.eu/content/view/19384/45/

Albania does recognise the Macedonian nation and language, but only in certain regions. It needs to recognise Macedonians where ever they reside in Albania, and should not require a document proving one's ethnicity....

What is there for Albanians to be threatened by anyway? The only minority with more than one percent in Albania is the Greek one, and still even the Greek minority is small.
Surrounding countries with large numbers of Albanians are very threatened by us however, their behavior towards Albanians tells us that they are.

Albanians In Manastir bitolamuseum.org/virtual/Stara_Bt_pano.swfIt is interesting to see how many mosques were in Old Manastir, I counted sixteen which today are no ware to be seen, I guess that’s what you call cultural cleansing. Used by the local Albanian population which together with Albanian orthodox population made up the majority of the city and the surrounding areas which today are no ware to be seen, I guess that’s what you call ethnic cleansing. www.youtube.com/user/BelindaPrespa#p/u/3/T20RirwJ6ywPershendetje te gjith Maqedonve 2001 Macedonian War/ Macedonian Army getting their ass kicked A song dedicate to one of the fighters and the group fighting in the above video After getting their ass kicked, the Macedonian Army started to come up with theories that UCK was trained by Britain and America and other European Nations, excuses What was done in Manastir, Oher, Prilep, Velez and other Albanian inhabitant places will not happen again.

I remember Manastir in 1970 ......full of Albanians ....now very little ....they have overpopulated it in the 1980's heavily with large amounts of slavic speakers ....
they were passing out 0% and sometimes even no payment-back loans to build a house or apartment to slavic speakers only /especially if they were state employees ..it was hush hush club thingy that Albanians were not aware of ....so Manastiri grew in size by 3 times and least within a few years with newcomer slavs and drowned out the Albanians ......some Albanian moved out bcs they couldn't get a job in Manastir (not club members )
for a city where the Albanian alphabet of all the Balkans was nationalized .....it proves what the predominant population was

"not really. serbs and 'sclavinians' were used interchangebly. for example King Mihailo of duklja like each duklja ruler held the title "King of Serbs", but was crowned "Rex Sclavorum" "King of the Slavs" by the Vatican."
Correct. Krivo, you've explained it better than l ever did ;D

Golo Brdo are bulgarian they would say they are macedonians only to profit something since they know that Macedonia spends lots of money for pustec to use that village of couple houndred people as and important minority in Albania who tries to counter act almost any political request from Albanians in Macedonia. Most of slavic people in Albania that are claimed from Macedonia as their own, cal them self's Bullgarian, which makes sence since Macedonians didn't exist as a nation at the time when they migrated to Albania.

The Macedonians in Albanian are represented by the Macedonian Alliance for European Integration (Macedonian: Македонска Алијанса за Европска Интеграција, Makedonska Alijansa za Evropska Integracija). The party has had significant electoral success with the Macedonians in Albania. In 2007 Edmond Temelko was elected to the position of Mayor of Liqenas, and was reelected to this position in 2011. In 2011 Edmond Osmani narrowly missed out being elected as Mayor of Trebište, however 5 Macedonian counsellors were elected in Pustec, 3 in Trebisht, 2 in Bilisht and another in Pirg.
