Where did it all go wrong? www.teslasociety.com/500.htmYou guys have yourselves to blame. Had you stuck with the US, then Yugoslavia would still be yours, not just Kosovo.

You should write a letter to your parliament and tell your politicians not to get so cozy with the West. Then again... the USA has much investment in Macedonia, so you better sit there and keep quiet. you first

I think it shows the hypocricy of the SOC www.spc.rs/eng/communique_archbishopric_ohridThey criticize the US and NATO regarding Kosovo and Serbs in general, and then try and use them for their own purposes. Well, you can't have it both ways. neither can the Macedonians. Perhaps. Let's see how the latest Serbian foray into Macedonian politics pans out.

Could this all be a plot to end his desired choice to join with the SOC. Rex, even your angels (USA) wrote a letter to Vardar stating their dissapointment with the government. Religious freedoms, where is it? Oh, so now the USA is good??

this guy seems like a bad ass mean Serb. i support him. He's actually a Vlach from Nizhopole, Bitolsko. This is welcome news. It's also interesting to note that some of the very few priests that joined his organisation have now left, and are returning back to the Macedonian Orthodox Church. Interestingly, he does have the support of the USA and NGO's (i believe the ZOGs that Missy refers to...)

Greeks have Slavic dna roughly 30 percent so they are discriminating against 30 percent of themseleves. I highly doubt Greeks hate Serbians too. Missy, is this taught in Greek schools? How many Greeks know this? I bet 0.0000000000001% and then deny it. In any case, Pyrros is correct. Greeks are very anti-Slav. I mean the average people, not necessarily the govt.

Novi bro, you cannot sacrifice your own kind, for the sake of anti-slav b1tches who act under strict BRITISH command. THE TECHNIQUES EMPLOYED BY THE GREKO-ENGLISH TO CLEAN GREECE FROM SLAVS, ARE *EXACTLY* THE SAME LIKE THE ALBANO-AMERICAN ARE DOING IN KOSOVO. GREECE = KOSOVO THERE IS NO FRIENDSHIP. *ANY* b1tch who acts semi-friendly to Serbs deep beneath considers Serbs/Bulgars/ as ANIMALS.... That's how the Brits have trained us.... NOVI BE SMART... LISTEN TO GOD.... DO NOT BUY READY-MADE stories, and pls stop this anti-slav mania you seem to have.... Greeks were pro-serb BECAUSE THEY WERE INSTRUCTED BY THE BRITS TO ACT AS SUCH.... If tomorrow the brits plan a greko-serb war, they can achieve it IN A MATTER OF DAYS, and all the friendship will be gone... TRUST ME, and DO NOT ABANDON YOUR PPL..... YOUR PEOPLE = ALL SLAVS Pyrros, you seem to have a firm grasp of the issues at hand. Pozdrav

"Btw, your desciption of Macedonia as a "garbage nation" is incredibly insulting. And I wonder how a non-Macedonian with so little respect for my people manages to keep his moderator privileges in this section." I didn't only say this for Your people, l also said the same thing For montenegrins too. If you ever read in the SF section, l even give it to My people, cos they Deserve it. Serbs, Montenegrins and Macedonians are not garbage nations. You on the other hand are garbage - full stop

Fair comment Nikola, i'm small fry and have NO influence in Balkan politics. Your right, who's going to listen to me other than fellow participants here. This forum is for the average joe blow wishing to express their thoughts, nothing wrong with that. Your "thoughts" are damaging and not required. Not just because this is an issue between Greece and Macedonia, which you have nothing to do with since you clearly aren't either. But also because Chentovist and kartadolofonos came to an agreement for once. It's an important step to good relations between Greeks and Macedonians, no matter how insignificant it may seem. But you then decide to chime in and crap all over it. You see a wound healing, and you just take a knife and cut it again. And it's especially annoying because you have nothing to do with either people, and nor do you even live there. Btw, your desciption of Macedonia as a "garbage nation" is incredibly insulting. And I wonder how a non-Macedonian with so little respect for my people manages to keep his moderator privileges in this section. I still can't understand Novi's obsession with Macedonia. What is the connection here? He must have had some bad expriences with Maco's in Australia...

If Macedonia decided to call itself Vardarska, what would be the english version? Like Hrvatska is Croatia. We would never do that. Perhaps Northern Macedonia, Upper Macedonia or even Vardar Macedonia, but nothing without the name Macedonia.

Macedonia observes St. Clement of Ohrid Day
Skopje, 8 December 2010 (MIA) - Macedonia for a fifth year in a row is observing St. Clement of Ohrid Day as a national holiday to celebrate the life of the first original author and educator, the first bishop and founder of the Ohrid Literary School.
Together with Naum of Ohrid, he is the most eminent student of the creators of Slavic literacy, the holy brothers SS. Cyril and Methodius, and their most loyal follower.
Ahead of Thursday's holiday, the Skopje Army House hosted late Tuesday a formal academy, organized in honor of the St. Clement of Ohrid Day.
St. Clement of Ohrid awards - the highest recognition for life-long achievements in the field of education, culture, art, health-care, sports and environment - will be presented today in the Parliament.
This year’s recipients of the state recognition are archaeologist Dragi Mitrevski, academician and writer Luan Starova and painter Nikola Fidanoski.
St. Clement of Ohrid (835-916) is one of Macedonia's greatest educators and the first writer in the history of Macedonian literature. His works played a significant role in the development of the Macedonian culture and literacy. Especially important was the Ohrid Literary School, which he founded and had about 3.500 students. He is also credited for being one of the founders of the Cyrillic alphabet.
Nowadays, many churches, institutions, schools and associations are bearing his name. St. Clement is the patron saint of the city of Ohrid. ba/fd/11:55

PM Gruevski congratulates St. Clement of Ohrid Day
Skopje, 8 December 2011 (MIA) - On the occasion of the great Christian and national holiday St. Clement of Ohrid, Premier Nikola Gruevski has sent a note of congratulations to the Head of Macedonian Orthodox Church (MPC), HH Stefan.
"Observing such great holidays lays a foundation for preserving and enriching the Macedonian culture and high Christian values. Clement of Ohrid in his works combined holy and secular matters in the best possible way and conveyed the Orthodoxy essence and mission - solidarity, teaching, strengthening the Christian spirit and respecting joint values and faith amongst people. His works have showed the right path to many nations worldwide," says Gruevski.
Our tasks, he added, is to continue encouraging and promoting the established tradition of mutual understanding, respect and assistance. ba/fd/16:30

I should clarify - Macedonian Slavs Ok yes, but that's over territory. OK so you only hate one Slavic nation, or maybe two - the Bulgarians?
