The first photo you posted shows a Nord, he do not look like "Hellenic statues of gods" but like someone who just jumped out from a Barbarian Viking horde. The other two photos, of Diadomenos and of Apoxyomenos are not Hellenic statues of Gods, but athlets, so you what are you talking about? The guy in the picture I posted in my first post does not look "nordic". And who says I posted statues of gods? I said he looked like Hellenic statues of gods but I couldn't find a corresponding image so I posted the next best thing.

THE STATUES SHOW CLEARLY MEDITERANEANS, there are not any Nordic statues of Gods made in Ancient Greece, Nords are barbarians not Hellenes. What in the world are you talking about? I'm not saying that the character in this movie looks "Nordic", you are. So then why are you arguing with yourself? As a film and sci-fi fan, I just found it interesting that the "engineers" in this movie, who created humanity and humans worshiped them as gods, look like Hellenic statues of gods.

This is the best I can find. Unfortunately, the angle makes it look weird but you can see his nose better here.

This is Nordic, there are not any Nordic Hellenic statues of gods in Greece. All statues of Olympian Gods of ancient Greece are Mediterranean. Trust me, from a side profile, the character in this movie has that exact same large and long nose that fuses with the forehead that ancient Hellenic statues do. Like this: And the lips (as you can see above) already look the same too: I can't find a side profile to show you though. This is the only image from the movie that exists on the web so far.

It's good, but it's nothing like the original Alien movie. So as long as you treat it as something completely different, you should like it.
It's not great though. It felt like a lot of scenes were cut or not included and that made most of the characters not very well developed. If they release a 3 hour long version on Blu-Ray, it should be a lot better.

Anyone seen it yet? Initially I thought it had lots of plot holes but upon reflection, I think a lot of it went way over my head. Also, the questions it asks about the creation of humanity stay with you for days after. Another thing, the look of the "engineers" is a lot like ancient Hellenic statues of gods.

Then again of course she had no choice as she would be prosecuted back at her home country.... Oh of course. They would burn her at a stake.

I don't know why people always act so surprised when these statues get erected. They were all announced two years ago.

I don't think she would have been able to discuss the issue if she wanted to anyway. I just saw another video of her and her English skills are very poor.

Corvex isn't strictly a Dinaric thing, his face is long ( Dinarics have long faces ) and you cannot see the back of his head clearly. Dinarics don't have long faces, Pontids do. And you can see the back of his head perfectly in the second picture. This Albanian kid is Dinarid and looks nothing like the guy in this thread.

He has no Dinaric features at all. His nose isn't convex, his face isn't broad, and the upper part of the back of his head isn't flat. He is northern Pontid if anything.

A question to the Albanians here; do the Albanians that were arrested and in the video above look like Albanians to you? I've been looking at images of Albanians from Albania and they look different to the Albanians I'm used to from Macedonia. I even have to wonder if Albanians in Macedonia are not Albanianised Turks or something because that's what they mostly look like.

Your hair type is common among southern Slavs (very straight and you can see the skull when short), and you do have that Pontid long neck/face but, you still look mostly northern European to me. Especially in the second picture.
Or maybe you look like a cross between a Norwegian and someone from the Balkans. Who knows, there are people in the Balkans who look northern European, why not northern Europeans who look Balkan?

Are you 100% Norwegian? Or mixed? Because you have some hairy eyebrows for a Scandinavian.

Are they all Albanians? They look like Turks.
I'm curious about some of their surnames too. Agim Ismailovic? Afrim Ismailovic? What ethnicity are these people?

macedoniaonline.eu/content/view/20918/45/Shooters are: Alil Demiri, Afrim Ismailovic, Agim Ismailovic Wednesday, 02 May 2012The killers are identified, one is in custody, the other two on the run. Agim Ismailovic awaits Court date in prison, while his brother Afrim Ismailovic and Alil Demiri are on the run. After the execution style murder Fejzi Aziri (54) and Rami Sejdi (24) helped the three escape by illegally crossing the border with Kosovo. They too have been charged with terrorism. As previously suspected, police confirmed the three cold blooded killers did not know their victims, rather drove in the area looking for someone to kill. The public prosecutor will seek life sentences for everyone involved. Ex Foreign Minister Antonio Milososki remained on his original belief that the culprits be given the death penalty and executed.
