So? he was kidnapped as a child, later on in his life he came back to his roots. That's a real epic to be proud of. Except the part where he was slaughtering Muslims, you guys have a hard time accepting that part.

He knew it wasn't the religion of the Albanians and wanted to destroy its' pressence. Lord knows how many Muslim Albanians he killed, it's not like he did DNA sampling to check "blood relation". |

Do not flatter yourself grekoman. Those Turkish soldiers were inside a Slavonic church not a Greek one. Try to read the inscriptions on top left side of the painting. It is Slavic.
Those Turks in the painting were only following the example of Murad II who married Mara the Brankovic daughter.
And the example of their other leader Sultan
