Why Serbia and Bulgaria hate each other so much? We are both with slavic cultures and languages, neighbours, rivals for Macedonia (we cant get over the fact they brainwashed them, they think we bulgarized them) and most importantly the Serb-Bulgarian war in 1885. When Kingdome of Bulgaria and East Rumelia united, the only country that attacked us was Serbia (not Turkey, Romania or Greece). Serbia was to be destroyed by the Bulgarian army, but Austria threatnes us with war if we dont get out of Serbia.

We might not be natural brothers but part of us grew together with serbs. Durmitor ("the sleeping one" or the "dormitory" in Rumanian) national park of Montenegro. Visitor (visator, visator= "dreamer" in Rumanian) mountain is on the border with Albania. In the same way we've been brothers with bulgarians. In the XIXth century Badea Cârtan (Rumanian peasant from a village close to Sibiu) made a voyage to Rome to see the town of his ancestors. Today, I would rather go to see Durmitor, Visitor, Cipitor mounains... ... and Ioan, Asan and Caloian's Târnovo.

I don't hate Serbs. Politics must not be confused with relations between ordinary people. Actually I get along excellent them, provided that stupid historic disputes are avoided.

I think that most Balkan people are really brothers and closely related to each other and this certainly goes between Serbs, Bulgarians and Romanians, although because of language similarities such connection is much more pronounced between the first two.
Still, one can not discount that many former Vlachs have become later slavophones thus south Slavs which would or should also cement relations with Romanians as blood is thicker then water.
PS: The more time is spend with another Balkanian the less one notices any differences is my personal experience.

true. Although I don't think Romanians are Balkan people. We are Central European one.

They are racially, genetically and culturally most related to other Balkan people and contain many Balkan Vlachs who migrated in what is now Romania. Also go to Google (Google Images >> type "Balkan States") and it is clear that Romania is viewed as a Balkan state. link

Ohhh now I see, you war for Makos that's bad, Makos are bulgars and speak bulgarian. That's what I know. No. The war occured because King Milan in Serbia was an idiot influenced by Austrians. If he was intelligent he would have done what the bulgarians did when they united their two areas -- specifically he should have declared union between Serbia and Montenegro. But no, King Milan was an austrian puppet. It had nothing to do with the artificial Mako nation (which did not exist until after WWII). Another reason I am against Serbia entering the EU is because the main supporter of us in the EU is Austria. I hate it when Austria tries to interfere in our affairs.

It's not Rumanian but Romanian. In Serbia Romania is Rumunija. Romanija on the other hand is a mountain and area in Republika Srpska.
