Kosovo just recently announced indepedence from the country of Serbia, the Serbian government as well as it's citizens are infuriated.
But in the northern province of Serbia, the Hungarians are restless.
Will Vojvodina become independent as well? Please give your thoughts.

As far as I am aware Serbs make up the majority 70% and the Hungarians 14% In numbers I think it 1.5 million serbs and 290 thousand hungarians
And the others are
Croats Slovaks Montenegrins Romanians Roma Germans Albanians Bulgarians etc
So I seriosly doubt there can be any independence claims.

Yes Vojvodina has all the potentials of becoming a better Slovenia once it is free from Belgrade. I see no reason why the people of Vojvodina should continue to pay for Belgrades never ending mistakes.

Now try to include the fact that the Croats, Montenegrins, Albanians and Roma will support the Hungarians.
I believe the Hungarians could at least attempt to declare Subotica an independent state.

And the Roma woul;d have no benefit in suppotying either side. and even if those groups did, they would represent less then 20% of Vojvodina's population.

The Association of Ethnic Montenegrins in Serbia represents the vast majority, and they would support the Hungarians definately.
The only true allies serbs have in vojvodina are the slovaks and romanians.
Besides that the Roma, Bulgarians, Germans, ect. would support the Hungarians because they know they'd be better off economically.

The Association of Ethnic Montenegrins in Serbia represents the vast majority, and they would support the Hungarians definately. They do not. Have you actually been to Serbia, have you met a Montenegrin in Serbia. No, you haven't. The majority of Montenegrins would not support Hungarians. First of all. The standard of living and discrimination a Roma would receive in Hungary vs. Serbia is the same. Second of all, Bulgarians & Germans would not be a major factor as they represented less then 0.2% of the population each. Furthermore. They wouldn't benefit from Hungarians areas going to Hungary since Bulgarians and Germans live in areas that are not close to Hungary. Hungarians are present in northern Vojvodina, while Germans & Bulgarians are present mainly in southern Banat.

I've been to serbia and have met many Montenegrins. Have you been to Lovcenac? The biggest ethnic Montenegrin village in serbia? They vojvodina montenegrins are mad at serbia right now.
Vojvodina wouldn't necessarily join hungary, it would be an independent country with many good economic perspectives.

No a bunch of brdjani are mad at Serbia. They represent what 1% of Montenegrins in Vojvodina and less then .5% of the ones in Serbia. didn't you at one time say you would never go to Serbia. Vojvodina. Will not be independent. Less then 5% of the population is openly secessionist. About 10% are federalists. And the rest are split between those who oppose autonomy and those who support varying degrees of autonomy. The simple fact is the new Serbian constitutionj gives them economic autonomy. And the authorities of Vojvodina have large powers to pursue their economic interests.

They represent 100% of the Montenegrins in vojvodina, and most of them in serbia.
I never said I would never go to serbia. I actually like Serbians, I just dont like posrbice a.k.a serbs from Montenegro.
Vojvodina can be independent, your statistics are not backed up with any evidence, if they were perhaps I'd second guess my views.
