now its better but i think those Caucasians and Crimean Tatars who were collectively punished by Stalin were transferred mostly to the Central Asian Soviet republics, not to Turkey. The Circassians and Tatars who live in Turkey are mostly descendants of refugees from Tsarist Russia (and not from the USSR). But the Turks will correct us.

Still, I believe this relates to Turkey because when the Russians forced the Circassians out of Crimea, due to their Nazi collaborations, those people settled in the Ottoman Empire. how could any Nazi collaborators settle in the Ottoman Empire? Time travel?

"This may be somewha off-topic, but I was wondering, what is Toptan's lineage? There was a very famous Ottoman-Albanian family with the name Toptani. One of the most famous being Essad Pasha Toptani. Part of this family even made links with the last Sultans family." www.aksiyon.com.tr/detay.php?id=28142The guy is from Rize (thats in the Black sea region) and if i understand this article correctly his ancestors are from the Caucasus (not unusual there), his grandfather was called Topaloglu Ali Aga and he migrated to Turkey from Russia. Topal-oglu means "son of the lame"?

if its true then it was a good election for the Huns. I worried non of them will win seats but if this exit poll is correct then both the RMDSZ and Tõkés will be in the European parliament. The low turnout helped us.
when will u have official results?

lol, i don't know who was the first, but read some poems by Umar ibn Abi Rabia (the guy was a muslim Qurayshi from Mecca and lived during the Umayyad era), he always wrote about chicks.. so unless that Albanian lived earlier, i doubt he was the first.

The only way how Albania could avoid communism if they remain totally neutral during ww2 (which is quite unlikely, nobody could remain neutral in the region). if italians don't occupy you then most likely Zogu would either join the Axis voluntary (result is either Hoxha or the Yugos or the Soviets occupy Albania) or join the Allies (result Axis occupation during the war, then Hoxha, Yugos or Soviets liberate you), either way commie system is the result.
btw have you heard about the Paris peace treaty in 1947? didn't Italy had to pay war reparations?

I hope soon Kosovar embassy will open in Hungary too www.eubusiness.com/news-eu/1203357720.46Document Actions Hungary to recognise Kosovo: FM 18 February 2008, 19:43 CET (BUDAPEST) - Hungarian Foreign Minister Kinga Goncz said Monday she would propose to her government to recognise Kosovo, the MTI news agency reported.
"I will propose to the government to set in motion the necessary recognition process and that the president takes the necessary steps to open diplomatic relations," the minister told Hungarian journalists in Brussels, where she was attending a meeting of EU foreign ministers.

because Russia can nuke Italy, but Italy can't nuke Russia... Thats a good point ... But so can Pakistan and India and North Korea. Why cant we make them UNSC permanent members with the right of veto?? actually Pakistan, India and North Korea can't reach Italy but i think Russia can reach almost any place on Earth with their intercontinental ballistic missiles. I understand u don't like Russia's power (my country also suffered a lot too thx to them), but still its the biggest country on the planet, with biggest or second biggest nuclear arsenal, with a still very big army, its the second space power and have many natural resources so these things can't be ignored. in the long term if the trends continue India also should become permanent member i support this. Pakistans politics are too instabil and they don't have the capability to become a world power in the near future. if EU will have a common foreign ministry then UK and France should be kicked out and replaced with an EU seat. I would happily see Brazil too in the UNSC so Latin America would be also represented but they have to develop a lot until then. this is my proposal

Firstly, though my country played in the other team during ww2, respect to the Greeks for their resistance. They were one of the bravest and best soldiers in that time without doubt. But i have to ask these: And what about the USSR, same time against Germany, Romania, Hungary, Finland, Italy, Slovakia? Or Germany also confronted more armies simultaneusly, and i think the Japs too. according to wiki: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_War_II_casualtiesDeaths as % of population: Poland had the most with 18,51%, Greece only 4,31%. Germany, Hungary, Indonesia, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Portuguese Timor, Singapore, Soviet Union, Yugo all lost more ppl % than Greece. now which is true?

The Vojvodinan Hun newspaper www.magyar-szo.co.yu/ says the same btw what are the relevant laws in Serbia, what did they violate?
