No. And i doubt that the Chinese work "almost for free" because of their patriotism. that money what is almost nothing for us, can be a lot of cash for a poorer Chinese from the countryside.

www.portfolio.hu/en/cikkek.tdp?k=2&i=19352Hungary to hold 1st election round on 11 April - President January 22, 2010, 10:54 am Hungarian version Share this Hungary’s President László Sólyom has set the first round of parliamentary elections to 11 April 2010, the President’s Office has announced on Friday. The second round will be held on 25 April. The election campaign is officially on. The gap between the announcement of the election date and the event itself has never this short as it will be this year. Sólyom’s decision comes as no surprise, given he has already made it clear he will pick the first day possible to hold the election and cut the campaign period as short as he can. 2010.01.06 15:45 Hungarian President to set 1st election round to 11 April by end-January The constitution stipulates that elections are held every four years, either in April or May and that there must be at least 72 days between the setting of the election date and the first round. People are traditionally called to cast their ballots on a Sunday, but the first Sunday of April is Easter this year, so this day had to be eliminated. The law would allow the election to be held on a weekday or a Saturday, but Sólyom is apparently a man of traditions. Three-party Parliament According to the latest polls, turnout will be relatively small this year, around 50%, although in 2006 about 10-15% more people turned up at the booths than expected. Fidesz continues to boast the highest popularity, tracked from a distance by the Socialist Party (MSZP) and far-right Jobbik. At Szonda Ipsos Fidesz stands at 35%, MSZP at 14% and Jobbik at 7%. Pollster Medián projects that Fidesz will obtain at least two thirds of the 386 seats in Parliament, with MSZP snatching about 20% of the votes and Jobbik also reaching the 5% threshold to make it to the House. The smaller opposition parties, the Hungarian Democratic Forum (MDF) and the liberal Free Democrats (SZDSZ) are expected to obtain no mandates and disappear from Parliament for at least four years. Polls in January 2006 expected only Fidesz and the Socialists to make it to Parliament, but eventually both MDF and SZDSZ garnered enough votes to gain seats. In January 2002, the Socialists were ahead of Fidesz by a neck in polls and it had barely beaten the centre-right party.

indeed, this shameful attitude exist among many ignorant ppl, but hopefully this injustice will be partly corrected and all Hungarians in the neighboring countries will recieve Hun citizenship (i voted yes in that referendum in 2004 ) don't worry the Hungarian refugees also recieved housing and jobs. Thats why they created the refugee centers too to give them housing when they first arrived without anything. They were not locked there and most of them became Hun citizens in a quite short time.

actually the mentioned Bicske refugee center (and some others) was created in 1989 originally to support the many Hungarian refugees from Romania. Interesting. So instead of giving them citizenship and housing for your own ethnic Magyars , you keep them the same as Somalians in refugee camps. I didn't knew about this, but its kinda sad. around 1988-1991 was the first time for decades when a big wave of refugees, tens of thousands of ppl came to hungary (before them Greeks came after 1949 and Chileans after 1973 in bigger groups). Then after the Hungarians from Romania, the refugees from ex-Yu arrived during their war and now mostly ppl from the third world. there is nothing sad in giving shelter for ppl in need, thats the sad they had to leave their original home.

Palestinians and Afghans have been in Hungary for a long time, some of them came here during the commie times and i also noticed the increased number of Somalians lately. i feel sorry for them they came from a really fked up place. I haven't heard about any troubles made by them so they are welcomed. actually the mentioned Bicske refugee center (and some others) was created in 1989 originally to support the many Hungarian refugees from Romania.

Please tell me what "real Hungarian" history is? Is it the one developed by the Austrians? or is it the oral tradition that Hungarians are descended from Attila? the Sumerians are not claimed by the Uralic theory or the old Hungarian traditions either, thats for sure.

the Sumerian theory is stupid, we can be proud of our real history we don't need this unscientific bs.

lol. historically yes protestants grew up from Catholicism, but based on their practicies i always thought Catholicism and Orthodoxia are much closer to each other. Anglicans and Lutherans are also quite close to the Catholicism but i wouldn't call Calvinism, Unitarianism, Baptism and the neo protestant sects as different flavors of Catholics.
its around 14 % in Hungary who declared themself to be atheist and another 10% who "did not wish to answer". in Slovenia, Czech Republic, Estonia and Germany these numbers (who are atheist and those who don't want to tell it) are even higher. It seems to me Romania and in other orthodox countries religion is more important part of the national identity.
those 10% who didnt want to tell about their faith in Hungary probably think this is a too "sensitive data" and its not the state's business. they can be atheists, members of smaller faiths etc. and some older ppl still remember that once these religious infos were used for persecution so maybe this can also be a reason.

I'm so envious of Slovenia. Only EU country without a mosque. Dont worry though they don't have real mesdzid but as i see muslim community is present everywhere there too www.islamska-skupnost.si/medzlisi And not Slovenia is the only EU country without a "real mosque", i think there arent any in Slovakia, Latvia and maybe Estonia too

Battonya is a Hungarian majority village with Serbian as second and Romanian as the third biggest ethnic group. As far as i know there is only one Serbian majority village in Hungary (Lorev/Lovra) and one Romanian (Mehkerek/Micherechi).

its disgusting what the Slovak government is doing, they not only instigate hatred against their southern neighbor but against 10% of the population of Slovakia too. they use the "Hungarian card" to collect votes. Unfortunetly our gov is full of incompetent weak politicians and the EU also don't care...

i think white ppl should start flooding muslim countries en masse. That would only be fair... though mostly not whites, but Christians are flooding muslim countries, like Kuwait, Qatar or Bahrain there r 10% Christian now (roughly same percentage as muslims in France or Netherlands for example) due to immigration so i hope u are at least partly satisfied
